did anyone else experience all your aloha systems running EOD at midnight last night, and shutting down your stores? or was it just us?
we are on 6.4 just curious if this happened to anyone else

Just stopped by to catch up and discovered this post. I have 4 locations on 6.4 and they all ran EOD and started over. While 2 of them were open! Local Support heard no other complaints and determined most were closed at midnight and didn't notice. After some questioning by me, they determined most of their sites did the same, but caused no obvious problem.

We're on 6.4 also. I was told by our re-seller something always happens on DST. This year it was just shutting down :)

500 sites on 6.2.13 and not one single DST issue anywhere in the country.

If you use the FAT file system, then you will have issues -Something to do with the way the file information is cached for a few seconds. The year DST changed on the new dates, our systems were constantly rebooting, Aloha sent a couple of developers out to our office to look at what we were seeing and they determined it was the FAT32 file system. Since then, we converted any remaining sites to NTFS and never saw an issue again.

This was definitely a ver 6.4 issue. Both of my stores running 6.4 did end of day at midnight that night. My stores on 5.3 and 6.2 had no issues.
