Hello Guys i have problem with my Aloha Kds, the kitchen always display the message (TerminalName) Master and sometimes (TerminalName)NoBOH

Thank you in Advance

When it says NoBOH it means the kitchenservice is either not running, or the KDS cannot connect to the machine running it.

1. make sure you have dot net installed in your kds terminal
2. com enabled as well as the kitchen interface should be present on the boh fileserver
3. re run aloha kitchen service from the services or restart the boh

if this is previously working
1. double check the startak.bat if parameters are correct
2. if the aloha kitchen service is not running and on "stop", re run it.
3. ANOTHER factor is if you have firewall enabled... disable it.

these are some if's but may be the solution, still better read the

If your system has multiple IP addresses, you might need to program the Aloha Nic card address into the local settings file xml file. That file can be found in the Aloha Kitchen data folder. If this is the issue, the debout in the aloha kitchen tmp folder would mention that the system found multiple IP addresses and it will list which one it has elected to use. If it is using a different one that your Aloha network, it will give the no BOH error.
