Hi,

There is an item on our POS that is ringing in incorrectly at $0.00 on the FOH terminal. On the BOH in Aloha Manager, the price is set to $1.99. I have played around with the price a few times in Aloha Manager and updated the FOH afterwards, but still no change. I also checked the ITM.DBF and the price was set to $1.99. One more thing I looked at was the Panel Editor to make sure the Panels were referencing the correct item number, and they were.

Not sure if there is anything else that could be causing this but if anyone has any ideas of what else I could look at please let me know. If you need more info please let me know.

Thank you!

Is it set for Button Pricing, Price Level, or Item Pricing? Do you activate a price change daily?

I know this is backwards thinking, but instead of spending massive amount of time trying to fix 1 button, just make a new one with the correct price and move on. There may be some corruption somewhere in your database. An error somewhere your eyes are just not catching. Quick and painless way to solve problem where it only effect 1 item.

Thanks for the responses.

Menulink Man- I was not able to find any info about how the price is set. Just looking at the button, it is set as a Script- first a SmartItem and then Chain. Where would I find Button Pricing, Price Level, or Item Pricing?

AlohaRoss- Thanks for the suggestion. One important piece of info that I left out in the first post was that I am managing close to 200 locations right now that receive identical updates to their POS periodically. Since this is the only location experiencing the issue, I'm not sure if this is the best way to go about it. If I changed the button at the one location, it would get overwritten next time I sent out an update to the POS. Also, I think having a new item for one location could cause some issues when looking at aggregated sales for this item. Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

If all other stores are not having issue, bring over one of their databases minus employees and see if the issue persists. It may be corruption on 1 file.

Another thought:

Are you running Configuration Center? If so, do you have any versions created for this site?

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestions.

It turns out the issue was that this location had an event set up for a price change on an item every night at midnight. Somehow the other item was accidentally checked to be set to $0.00.

Thanks again!
