We recently closed on of our stores that had Aloha running. The server has been sitting on a shelf for 6 months.

We are now opening a new location and was going to use that server. We have turned it on a few times to get data or reports, but this time when I click on Aloha Manager, the screen comes up and I click log on but I never get a log in box for a username and password? Any thoughts.

your network card in not plugged in. Control service didnt start. Use the existing shortcut and add /remote and then you can log in with out having to wait for the ctl service to fail.
When you launch Aloha you will have to hit file then login. It wil not pop up automatic
shortcut will look like this DRIVE LETTER\bootdrv\aloha\alohamgr.exe /remote be sure to add the space.
When you get your network working again you can remove the remote.

Its possible the aloha key may not be attached to the server. Verify it is connected so the services can start
