Aloha version 5.3.15
Fileserver replaced with new machine running windows 7. HASP deivers Sentinel 6.63.1.43776
The system ran great for a few days. Then CTLSVR would not start and showed that it times out after 21 seconds trying to locate the security key. I uninstalled then reinstalled the HASP drivers. rebooted and it ran fine. Now the same thing is happening but reinstalling the HASP drivers is not working. Any thoughts on this? Is there a different version of the Sentinel drivers that I should be using?

Thanks for the reply. Selective suspend is already disabled.

The last time I saw this issue, and it wasn't USB Select Suspend, it had to do with the motherboard drivers/BIOS. Our reseller used a 3rd party box as a server (they didn't like NCR's offerings) that had some sort of Gigabyte motherboard in it. I would have constant issues where the entire USB subsystem would quit responding - so the KB and Mouse went down as well. It would take a full reboot for it to come back up. Occasionally we had to swap USB ports the HASP key was in for it to work again. Once we flashed the bios and replaced the drivers, it seemed stable.

This one is a USB HASP. Will reach out to you next week. Thanks.

AlohaRoss, I looked and can't find your email address. I am still in need of both USB and LPT HASP drivers that will work well with Windows 7. Thanks.
