Hello,
I have found where the Aloha grind files which are .dbf are located and I can read them well with Excel. If I change any information in these while using this information will it change the original .dbf? I do not want to make a mistake which will alter our actual correct #'s for the day.

The Trans.log file is the orignal encrypted transaction file - no way to read it. The grind process reads the trans.log file and creates the gnd*.dbf files that contain sales and other daily information.
