ALOHA GCHKINFO Grind file

It seems that the GCHKINFO.dbf grind file is not updated during a normal grind and sometimes has no data. Does anyone know when/how this file is updated with check info and if there is a way to force an update of it? I need to get access to data that ALOHA only makes available in this file relating to closed checks.

GCHKINFO only contains data if it has been added to a check by either A) checkinfo.exe or B) the CHeckInfo method available through COM. If neither of these have been used, the GCHKINFO will be empty.
