Aloha Error 1106

Hello,

Power went out last night at the restaurant and our Aloha system failed to precess the end of the day. It cannot find z:\\aloha\date\emp.dbf and I'm getting Error 1106. Would be nice to have a POS system on a Saturday night. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Try powering off and on your hub/switch/router (Whatever connects your terminals to the backoffice computer -It may be locked up).

Drive Z should normally point to your backoffice computer. So if the register terminals cannot map to the backoffice computer, usually something as simple as a locked up switch can be the issue.

Now, if your terminals and backoffice computer are working ok and on the network just fine, then there is a problem with a screwed up file like your emp.dbf -Just run a refresh and see what happens, if no change then copy the emp.dbf from the backoffice %IBERDIR%\data directory to the master register terminal. then reboot the master.
