Aloha EOD problem caused by editing promo

Hello,

I am having an issue at a unit that I support where after I add in a new promotion and then edit the coupon screen to change a button, they have a problem with their end of day process. They get the message on all terminals that they are waiting for the end of day to complete and I have to remove the EOD marker in the DATA folder, change the Aloha.ini to the current date, and remove the Trans log for the current day in order to get it back up again. This just started within the past month and has happened twice. Any ideas why this would happen because of working with the promos? Thank you for any info you can give.

If you delete an active promo it will cause failures. Your best source of info will be the debout.eod in aloha\tmp.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah the pro.dbf is failing to copy at end of day. The only thing that I am doing is adding a new promotion. I am not deleting anything as I have had bad experiences with that in the past. Not sure why its doing that but next time I will try to refresh the data before running the end of day and see what happens. Thanks again.
