Aloha EDC Declined transactions; Reason: 06 - Error 13

Hi All -

Does anyone know what Error 13 in EDC is? I have a system that was taken down back in August to test a new POS system. It is now back up but can't get CC's to process.

The DEBOUT.EDC provides no guidance. EDC is connecting to the processor, but pops up with this message, both FOH and BOH.

Is this something on the processors end?

You said it was taked nown? You have to have a merchant account and account numbers in EDC that will process to the correct bank account.

What processor?

Typically an error type 6 means the .hld files cannot be deleted but I have a feeling in your case it is something else.

Some processors use batch and trasaction sequence numbers. If the processor is on a different batch number than the aloha system you will have issues. If this is the case contact the processor and find out what the current batch sequence number is then change the current sequence number in Aloha to match.
