I have aloha edc v 6.2 with fdc as processor. For some reason, I am not able to get cc authorization through edc. It just gives a error message saying "failed to initialize port". I checked my modem (us robotics 28800) and it is working. I did not change any configuration in edc setting. Does anyone familiar with this? Thanks.

I'm not entirely familiar with aloha but if it is similar to other systems that I have seen you may need to configure your credit card settings to a different port that will dial out. There should be a selection of choices.
