Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to the FOH terminals in order to get them to process ecards with a back office server that is already configured to do so and working properly?

Is it some Aloha utility that needs to be installed, or is it just a configuration parameter somewhere?

You need the eCard license and software. The software is usally installed by the Aloha Enterprise team, and they contact you so you can test it. I've never really had any issues with it, except the very first time we did an install in Europe (you reading this Kelly Sullivan? ;-) )

Thanks for the response. The have the license for the software, it's already setup and running on the back office, as well as one of the terminals.

My issue is that terminals they have previously set it up on, have since died and been replaced. The manager at one location only recently brought it to my attention that they were now down to 1 computer where they could run ecards.

I am thinking the software is probably stored on the server's hard drive somewhere- if indeed there is actual software that needs to be run on the FOH terminal (or again, is it just a configuration paramater).

Luckily, the lone FOH computer that's still running ecards is of the same hardware as the newer units, so imaging is still a viable option, but a lot more work than I want to undertake.

send a message to enterprise support. i believe reinstalling this is part of the fee you pay for eCards, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
