Have aloha at 7 restaurants... only one shows "DRAWER BALANCE" and "TOTAL [DRAWER] BALANCE" on bar employee checkouts-- ( we have consistent til levels and only one employee per drawer, so we dont utilize in/out or drawer checkouts, but this drawer balance doesnt seem to make sense, as it seems to be equal to the cc tips, and the 'total' drawer balance seems to just equal the cash sales?

any way to turn this off, or what am i missing?
any help would be appreciated!

From my experience the difference is when a jobcode is flagged for "Store Collects Employee Tips", then both of those lines will appear on the checkout. The setting is for sites that pay their employees' credit card tips on their paychecks. For sites that don't have this setting checked because their people receive all their tips daily, only the line "TOTAL CASH OWED" appears. This setting is found in Maintenance > Labor > Jobcodes > Financial tab > Tips group.

Are any of your other 7 restaurants a part of the same CFC environment of the restaurant where you're seeing the "TOTAL [DRAWER ] BALANCE"? If they are, you can use the "Compare Records" utility (Aloha Manager/CFC: Utilities > Compare Records) to compare one store's record against the other. For example, if you wanted to compare the bartender jobcode at store ABC with the bartender jobcode at XYZ, you could do that.
