Hey all. Need some help adapting back to aloha. I’ve created an “event deposit” button and an “event deposit redeem” that doesn’t tax, reflects a negative amount on the final bill BUT it’s also eating into my servers tip out amount- how do I change that? Example: I have a $2,000 total event, at 20% grat my staff should make $400. I’ve taken in a $500 deposit last week, so I hit my “deposit redeem” button, it asks the price, I say “$500” now is what I want is a check that says subtotal: 2000 gratuity: 400 deposit received: -500 (I’m excluding taxes for easy math for us all to follow) = $1900 due. But what’s happening is Subtotal 2000, Gratuity $300 (Because it’s 20% 1500 not 2000 now), deposit received $500, total $1800. Can’t figure out how to reflect the deposit on the guests final bill without it messing with grat. Any help?
