Is anyone out there currently using Aloha Configuration Center & Menulink Labor? I wonder how the employee import / export is configured between this two app? Menulink labor allow only an initial import an so does Configuration Center. How this two application coexist?

The two programs do not communicate with each other. This is something that was on their roadmap for integration, but it has been bumped down the list.

There is a setting in CFC that will allow you to exclude the employee export from CFC. This will cause CFC to not export employees, and instead use Menulink ( like we do ). The only catch here is that CFC will manage the passwords, so if someone gets locked out of the BOH, you will need to use CFC to clear their password. If the employee is not in CFC, you will either need to create them or use Aloha Manager to reset it.

MenulinkMan do you know if for exporting schedule to Aloha I have to put a special AlohaSchedule.DBF file in the newdata folder? What does the file contain?

Setup a schedule export in Menulink. Using a batch file ( like you would do for importing punches, sales data, and sales mix ), call the schedule export. Make sure the time is set before your EOD, as the export will put the YYYYMMDD.sch file in your new data folder. This will then allow you to use the punctuality features of Aloha. In newer versions of Aloha, the schedule export will allow servers to print off their schedules on the terminal.

The files are encoded, so I can't tell you exactly what is contained in the file.
