Does Aloha have functionality for an employee with higher access levels (e.g. Manager/Shift Lead) to alter the price of a button mid-shift?
I understand that this can be done in the Back Office but we are trying to completely lock down office access and one key thing has been impromptu price changes for announced drink specials.
Hopefully missing this option is simply an oversight on my part (came from a Micros environment). Thank you!

Not an option I have ever seen. Squirrel had that ability. as a thought, You could install aloha manager on the Front of house and have it point to the boh for its database. The steps have been documented here before for old aloha manager. You could then make the changes. Having never done it, Not sure if you would still be able to refresh data. other option would be to have some remote access software on BOH like vnc or teamviewer. You could then remote to BOH and make changes while doors are still locked. Great question.

Woof, so no simple 'on the fly' price changes short of an Open Price button then? Thanks for the help!
