Aloha - Cash Drawer Opens after Certain Items are rung up

Hello to All!

I have an issue that is bugging me for some time and I am about to go postal. Any tips will be much appreciated! There are only a few certain items (sweet tea, appetizers and desserts) that when I ring them up on the POS and press DONE, a ticket gets printed at the Bar area which is fine, but the the cash drawer also opens for some reason! I have looked in all store settings and I cant seem to find any setting that would cause this to happen. And this only happens with a handful of items only.

I had a similar issue about 6 months ago. The cash drawer I was using had a printer interface. Once I replaced the printer, the issue went away. There seemed to be something with the Bixilon printer I was using. See if swapping out the printer if you use printer interface cash drawer works.

Also, in the future always mention what POS you are using.

Thanks for your reply! I have already tried replacing the printer entirely but no luck! (We use printer interface). I am using Aloha Table Service 6.4.15
