This has been driving me crazy for a week. I have the BOH server install and c: drive is shared with full permission. When I set up the FOH machine it grabs config data from the boh server correctly, but when I go to start the FOH, it says it cannot find the fileserver with the option of creating one.

Is this a permissions issue? What in particular is the fileserver?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

What OS is your FOH terminal running?

Have you shared the C: drive of the FOH terminal as bootdrv with full permissions as well?

Im running both FOH and BOH on windows xp. The FOH terminal is shared with full permission.

First I would check the ibercfg file on the C: drive and the environment variables on the FOH terminal. Verify the all settings are correct. I would be specifically interested with:

IBEROOT
LOCALDIR
TERMSTR
NUMTERMS
TERM
SERVER

After checking that, is the FOH terminal logging on with the username consistent with the TERMSTR and TERM #. I would assume for your system, this should be TERM1.

Ok wow. I got it working. Turns out each time I rebooted the computer I needed to set the username and password for the share.

I went ahead and set it in the mapped drive so it would log in automatically during boot up.
