Aloha - ADP Export

Hi All -

I'd like to export my clock-in information into ADP. We use ADP's PayExpert so the import isn't a problem. How do I get Aloha to give me the ADP file in the right format?

The Functions > Export > Create ADP Payfile doesn't seem to export much of anything useful

Anyone have any guidance on using Aloha and ADP and not manually entering hours?

Maintenance>Store Settings>Labor>Electronic Payroll Settings controls ADP functions. Also add ADP export codes to each Job Code and Employee under Maintenance>Labor.

I've added all of those things, but the file output doesn't match the CSV guidelines that ADP says are required.

I'm looking for someone that uses ADP PayExpert (Not their PC Product) and exports their paydata from aloha.

The export file I get now looks like this:

A001xxx00201z 6
B00300308100410080000030110120000 0120000500 z
B00300308300410080000030110110000 0120000650 z

They stopped support ADP exports this way sometime back.
You have 2 options to use currently.

If you are an enterprise site you can use a combination of the export feature along with company and site settings to get the information you need. I've done this for many customers. The good thing about this is if you are paying for enterprise you have no additional cost and you don't have to transfer the file since you get it from enterprise.

I can go into more detail on this if you have this.

Otherwise you are going to need one of the several third party products made just for this purpose. I would suggest that you work with your reseller and find the product they support. If you don't have a reseller I can suggest a product for you.

I don't use enterprise and don't have a reseller. Which third party Apps would you recommend?

Does the 'create adp payfile' work with ADP's PC based product?

You can use the software from MyPOSSoftware called iPOS to Payroll.
