Hello POS Gurus -
I'm hoping this is an easy one for you.
Aloha 6.1.23 - I know...
Windows XP - I know...
We had someone smash one of the radiant terminals, so we're installing a different term. We give the new term the correct name through Windows, assign it the correct IP octets and subnet mask. We are assuming the permissions are fine b/c we're able to map a drive to the term install folder on the BOH fileserver.
I kick off the installation and put in the correct info (num of terms, term1d, term string, etc) and the installation initiates as if it is going to be successful.
Suddenly an error message pops up on the terminal saying,"ERROR - Aboring Installation. Failed to copy all files from server".
I've tried looking in the debout files on the file server, nothing and there are no temp files on the local terminal. I'm attaching the screen shot so you can see it has the error misspelled.
I'm leaning toward a permissions issue but I've gone through this several times and usually if I can map to the file server and initiate the term install I'm usually fine. Would really appreciate some feedback so I can get back up and running 100%.
Thanks!
Charles
