I am going to upgrading very soon from aloha TS 5.3 to 6.5
(yea, I know we haven't been pci compliant for a while :)

My current 7 terminals run on disk on modules (emphase DOMs)1GB and 2GB, but a few use proprietary WYSE flash modules that CAN'T be had in any size greater than 512MB. I use a customized windows Xp embedded operating system that is wonderfully small and elegant with a footprint of 190 MB leaving me with 300MB of freespace before installing Aloha terminal and Stored Value. My current FOH Aloha folder weighs in at 116MB (600 files) after a busy saturday nite so I still have about 200MB free space on my 512MB units. Imagine that :)

I'm hoping Aloha hasn't bloated out their software like a lot of software folks have in the past 10 years.

Could someone running Aloha TS in the 6.2 - 6.5 revision range look at their FOH and tell me what size windows reports for just the Aloha folder (right click - select properties) Let me know the exact version too.

Info I need is from someone running just the TS terminal software on their FOH.

My current ALOHA\BMP folder is 9MB but I don't really use bitmaps so if your ALOHA folder is rather large >200MB could you also let me know how much of that is the BMP folder

I'm hoping Aloha folder has stayed below 250MB thanks in advance

Aloha folder on several sites i checked 6.4 version were right at or below 200MB. 198MB in files 203MB on disk. That is with a full installed BMP folder and 2 large logo files.

Cheers,
Coorsman
