I am trying to build a report of any items that were flagged as sold out in the POS. The only files I know of that hold that data are the ITMXX.CNT (XX = Aloha Menu Item #). I have not been able to figure out exactly how these files are handled by the POS when items are 86'd. Does anybody have any further insight on how these files are maintained by the POS?

Without pulling data from the item count txt files in data the best bet would be to run an item availability report from the FOH each day. Clunky but useable data I suppose.

Thank you for the input, posrescue. That would give me the data I require at the FOH. I am actually trying to create an enterprise-wide report for the Operations Director - so he is aware of which menu items sold out in each restaurant on any given day. Thanks again for the help :)
