Aloha 5.0 Questions

Hi,
I have 2 questions regarding Aloha 5.0.34.
1. Does it allow promos to be restricted by time? I would like our Happy Hour promo to only be applied from 5PM to 7PM. If not, I can just have it manager enforced.

2. I would like to do some Item maintenance. We have a lot of duplicate items or antiquated items that I would like to remove. If I remove items, will that impact any reports or any other functionality? Is there such a thing as item merge?

For #2, Don't delete the whole PLU#. Just delete the 3 names and save the PLU number for future use. No such things as item merge.
Worked with 5.0 but can't remember.

Not sure I follow. To simplify the product mix reporting and menu creation, I was looking to remove old and duplicate menu items. If I remove the 3 names and other information as well, won't the PLU# get removed? If not, will the PLU# continue to show up in reports?
