alcon,

Background:(separate system)
4.252 on win2000

Problem:
I have been receiving the error that there is low disk space and system may crash soon,
It says that there is only ~4gb of disk space when the harddrive is 20gb. It also says that only ~6 mb of disk space is available.
this all happens when i start up control, this happens for"client" and "server".
Can someone help please?

This is a really old and buggy version of Aloha, and believe it or not, I still have one client on it.

Sometimes this error would come on mistakenly, and while I don't remember the fix, it never hurt anything, it was just annoying.

It sounds like from your post that it's not an accurate message. However, if you are out of space, the best place to free on space on a really old system is the sales history in the ALOHA folder. You can back those up and delete them, or like most people, delete them all together if they're really old.

These are the folders named 20030101 (January 1st, 2003, for example) in the Aloha folder, and they range from about 1mb to 5mb in size typically, so you'll have to delete quite a few.

Be sure your C: drive is not the full one. Many times Aloha is loaded on a large D: partition but C: is very small.

Thanks all but got system fixed....edc files seemed to be the problem
