We are starting to upgrade some locations from 6.7 to 12.3. One weird new behavior we have seen is that we can't manually delete auto applied promos. Our vendor originally said this was implemented for security reasons. This creates difficulties for us because we have some promos that can't be applied with certain forms of payments and other promos so we need to delete promos. For instance we want to delete a lunch promo if a customer is using a promotional gift card because the promotional gift cards don't apply to promos.
Am I just missing a setting somewhere that my vendor is not aware of? There only recommendation was to turn off the auto apply feature but we literally have hundreds of lunch promos a day so it seems counter productive to turn off the auto apply and cause the servers to do more work.
