We have an OU of let's say 500 groups which are used on shares. These shares are owned by various people and I'd like to allow these users to manage their own shares with a snap-in. I know that I could create sub OUs and allow permissions that way. I mean the problem here is, that all the groups and in one OU and owned by different users and if I give permissions on the OU to these owners they get permissions to all groups. I was wondering if there was a way of filtering this in an MMC via say the description field? So if owner A owns Share1 which in turn has group A,B and C on it, how could I manage it so this owner only gets to manage/view his particular group?
