Ok

I am about to purchase MS Project as my demo has run out

Can other staff members view my MS Project file if they dont have the program installed? I only want them to see the data not edit or anything

Also I want costings to be on there but only for my viewing, can I achieve this?

Hello VATom,

The Project file type is proprietary, so in order to view the file, they will need Project installed. However, there are 3rd party Project viewers that are quite reasonably priced. See Housatonic's Project viewer ( as example.

If you give people access to the project file through Project, you cannot prevent them from seeing any data.

I hope this helps.
