Hello,

I am running CPS 4.0 on Win 2003 sp1. Session shadowing has been installed during CPS setup. I am able to shadow users as an admin account in the domain/citrix farm, but I would like to give our help desk users the ability to shadow users with out giving their user accounts admin rights to the domain or local Citrix Servers. They will be using the CPS Presentation Server Console from their desktops. Could someone suggest the proceedure to do this? Thank you for your help.

Hi,

In the Citrix Connection Configuration, select the ICA-TCP connection type. There's a security menu, under that select permissions... From there, add the group that you want and click the advanced button. By selecting the group you added, you can Edit the security and you will see the shadow access there.

If you have also modify the permission in the CPS, be sure that they have View Server Information.

Hope it helps

Fred
