Hello

I am trying to cretae a code that protects my worksheets but allows users to edit ranges. I want the editable ranges to be 'Named Ranges' from the active sheet.

I have tried simply recording myslef doing this but cannot seem to make it work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nik

Hi,

You must initially assign the cell Locked property.

Then when you Protect the sheet, the locked/unlocked property will work as prescribed.

what does the actual code for allowing editing ranges in protection look like?

thanks

Nik

There is no code. The unlocked cells can simply be edited.
