Allow user to go back and edit form entries?

I want to have a button on my custom confirmation page that allows the user to go back to the data entry form and change and reconfirm entries before proceeding by clicking a second button.

A button like that in the generic confirmation page that uses a hyperlink reloads and resets the form, forcing the user to re-enter all values, and resets my hidden form values.

JavaScript much preferred over VBScript.
