Hello,

I have a small sales office with 8 lines. Lines 1 & 2 are set up for a seperate "retail" division while the others are for internet customers. Problem I have is that we all answer the phone and these guys are like John Wayne at a gunfight. That means that the "retail" division is not always the quickest to answer on 1 & 2. Now, if I tell the rest of the crew not to answer 1 & 2 they will never answer it and if the other guys responsible for those lines don't pick up, the calls will go to VM and I dont want that to happen.

Is there a way to give the "retail" division a two ring advantage? Maybe ring on their extentions (11,12,13,14) twice and then ring company wide if there is no answer?

Thanks in advance.

If you set lines 1 & 2 to delayed ring on the "internet" phones, they wouldn't ring until the fourth ring, but would ring immediatley on the "retail" phones.

Don't forget to delay the attendant a couple more rings from the default.
