I'm running win2k server, ISA server 2000, and exchange 2000 with only dial-up to the internet. I need to allow clients' outlook to independently check various IMAP and POP3 internet mail servers and download messages through my server. I also need to send all outgoing mail through my ISP's SMTP server. I've tried a couple solutions from microsoft.com, including allowing SMTP IP packets through ISA server and setting up a smarthost to send all outside mail to my ISP, but it still doesn't work. I've been trying to do this with the outlook clients configured with two mail accounts: the exchange server and a separate one with the internet IMAP/POP3 account as incoming and my ISP's SMTP server as outgoing. Any ideas? Thanks!
