Hi folks
We are now calling folks outside of the US. I will be calling a lot of Germany numbers. Therefore, I need to open the LD access to call these numbers. Unfamiliar teritory for me. When I dial a "9 0" I get a busy signal. the number I am trying to call is 001 49 2433 XXXX. Any ideas on the ld and programming. Could this be a basic phone feature adjustment?

This is an option 61c - Rel 4.0

look for SPN 011, chg it from whatever RLI it is on, to your LD RLI. The RLI it is currently on probably has a higher FRL than your regular users NCOS, requiring a phone setup for it, or an authcode.

If he's getting a Busy on the 9 0, that means it's not programmed in the switch and will need to be programmed.
Create a SPN of 001 and point it to a new RLI X and make a entr 0 point to your CO route and set the MFRL to say 6. check LD 87 and make sure NCOS 6 is set to FRL 6. then give NCOS 6 to any one that needs to call germany.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Good catch Ace, wonder why they want international oper asst. instead of just calling the number?

right, right, op asst is 001 or 0011 (?)instead of 011 I see he has 001 in his string...

International kind of forum here. Is the switch you are programming in the U.S.??? If so your international dialling is 011 then the country code. If your switch is elsewhere, then most likely your international dialing is 00 then the coutry code. Some countries have different than the 00 but not many.
