Dear,
I have a question about allocations, because it is doing something weird. These are the three dimensions in the cube:
NY Lines Period Subledger
and we have the following measure:
- value
- allocation
- allocation key
We allocate over the dimension subledger by using another measure, being allocation key and this alocation is the measure called "allocation".
Now for the NY Lines, these are the categories:
- Net Sales
- Cost Of Goods
- ...
- Shipping
- Income taxes
The problem is that for some NY Lines, (e.g. shipmens and income taxes, the allocation measure is equal to zero and I don't understand why as the other two measures do not have zeroes in them.
Can someone please explain how the allocation works?
