First off I'd like to thank ya'll for any help suggested.
Were running GP 8.0 with Integration manager and a 3rd party allocate/fulfill software. The Software is set to release all orders that can be fulfilled and when we receive a shipment of items we were short on release those,which to my knowledge is working great. The problem I'm getting from the boss lady is without the items in "kits" going to back order we can not tell what we are down on. I've tried making a smartlist that shows what is not allocated but it shows orders that were closed out months ago as being unposted for one reason or another. Which of course throws the count off. They are in the history table. but from tech support for GP there is no way to only show the work table. So after explaining all that is there a way to either show only what we are truely back-ordered on using the allocate available on the kits. Or do we need to figure out a new solution?
