Hello all,

I have this 'allaboutsearch' trojan/spyware running on my computer. This basically puts a search bar (and a number of pop ups) at the bottom of my IE. I have run Ad-aware, Spybot(in SAFE mode as well). It seems to remove it for the session but when I reboot it comes right back.

It has been really frustrating.

Has anyone come across this?If so, what did you do to remove it?

Generally, if you've got one form of hijacker, you may have others.
First, run through the steps outlined in this tutorial:

Then, post a hijack this log if it isn't totally gone.

Thank you for your help. I did the same things that I did before after disabling the system restore. Every thing seems to be clean now.
