all video gone after opening up a saved projectfile??

worked for hours on a project file ,edited a lot of video footage and saved it ...
when i opening the file later it seems that all the video files are gone on the timeline ,there are only the thumbnails from the different video footage in my bin left
I have been looking what the problem is but cant find it ,
maby because I added some more video tracks to it ,but it should not be possible ?
who can help me out with this ?

You don't say which version of Premiere you are using.

Possibly the problem (if you are using Premiere Pro) is that you have inadvertently closed the timeline window. If that might be it, then double-click the sequence in the project window to get it back.

Otherwise, it is possible that the project file is corrupt. If you are lucky, you may find a folder called Project-Archive or Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save
somewhere on your system containing a workable recent copy of your project.
