All the tools we discuss here work on win 9x as well?

Just wondering if all the tools we talk about here work on win 9x as well as xp? I've done all the spyware a virus removal on xp, not 98 or 95 yet. You people?

Spybot, adaware, hijackthis work on 9x.

I think the online virus scans do.

I'm thinking I saw something the other day that indicated killbox does not.

Some of the more specialized spyware removal tools may not, or may have special nt or 9x versions.

generally, most download sites where you can download these apps tell you what os they can run. you can just get the softwares applicable to your os.

The new MS Anti Spyware doesn't work on 98 etc. Only works on XP and W2K.
