All the lights on switch are flashing.

I am not much of a switch person so...
When plugging in a new drop to the switch. All the lights start flashing and won't stop until you unplug the cable.
I have tested the cable elsewhere and it works fine.
Apparently it has partioning on iot...What does the partitioning do?

What type of cable are you trying to connect?, are you trying to connect switch to switch? or just switch to hub?

I am trying to connect cat 5 from Computer to switch .
Has never been a problem before. The switch has been acting up lately.

Maybe you have a bad port on the switch?

Hi,

Do all the leds stay lit when first turned on, without nothing connected?
reload the software 2.69 using the serial update program both available form 3com.

Else you have loop.

But I say its the first scenario.
