InDesign as royally pissed me off. For some bizarre reason, I am simply unable to use the mouse to drag objects, which has effectively halted my work. (Who would ever want this feature?)

Any idea how to turn it off? Nothing is locked. Thanks.

Unable to use the mouse to drag objects" after selecting them? and then you say

"(Who would ever want this feature?)"

What feature?

and you also ask:

"Any idea how to turn it off?"

How to turn what off?

I simply don't understand what your problem is.

Since you say that nothing is locked, the most common reason for things going bump in the night with Adobe apps is a corrupted Preferences file.

Quit ID, trash the prefs, relaunch and see if things work.
