We are running mgetty with Fedora ver 1 and using a modem to connect to other Linux servers with cu as well as using uucp to send files between these servers.
The modem works once when rebooted and then says 'All matching ports in use.' even though the permissions have been reset on the modem ports and lock files have been removed. If uucico is run multiple times, the files are then sent.
