Im working with lists in sharepoint at the moment. When i create a new list i have the option to apply a style.

However I cant seem to apply a style to the All Items default

What am i missing here ?

Chance,

F, G + Its official, its even on a organisation chart et all

If you are in the list - you should be able to modify the style in the view settings even for default views. (At least in WSS 3.0)

From the list go Settings - List Settings
Scroll to the bottom of that and you will see your view list
Click on the view in question
Scroll down to style
Change it to what you want

I just tested this on an all items view in a list on one of my sites and it worked without issue.

Thats pretty interesting!

You also appear to be missing Group By. What version of SP, and is it a default list or a custom one?

Version 3.0

The list was created via excel, It seems if you do it that way then you loose a couple of options. If you create from scratch you have the options
