I am having problems with my Partner ACS system. I have added a couple of lines and for some reason all incoming calls are being dropped after one ring. Can anyone have any idea why is this happening? Any help and directions appreciated.

have you tried hooking a 2500 set or other single line phone up to the lines and trying it that way to see whether it's a CO or partner problem ?

I have, but still the same problem. One time I got it working and then it start doing back as well. I was playing with line ring options and this is where I believe all started. Even when I go back to original state it still does it.

am I understnding you that the problem exists evan with a 2500 set and not just with the partner switch ?

If so its a telco problem and you need to contact them

it is not a telco problem and it is a partner issue.

Where is the line going after the (1) ring? Is it going to VM or just going dead?

Hi hmargaryan,
Try to disconnect all the station ports & test an incoming call. If this checks okay, plug the station ports in one at a time. If it's a big system, do one card at a time. Call in & test with each port / card. This will help you isolate the fault.
One idea, check for any modems on a station port set to auto answer. Look for this before pulling all the station ports. Disconnect all modems to be sure.
A resistance across a station port that rings on an inbound call will "answer", then drop. A crushed line cord or station cable can do this. Moisture in jacks may do the same thing.
Good luck!,

Thanks for all your support. I had to call a tech, but Chris's response was the solution. I had modified the lines and I guess that caused my main problem. I had VOIP equipment connected that was answering the incoming lines which needed to be reconfigured back with no lines.
