all-in-one printing

I have a HP LJ 3100n laser printer. When we print to it from our XP Windows DELL 280 box over USB interface, it prints multipage document pages ON ONE PAGE. Otherwise it is advancing paper as it should. I reinstalled the print drivers and even tried the Generic drivers. It still prints seconds and later pages of a document on A SINGLE PAGE.

I believe that this "feature" is independent of the type of doucment, Outlook or Word. (I have not tried non MS Office docs yet)

This is so wierd-does anybody have a clue how to make it stop???!!

Its always done this?

You've checked all the settings both for the printer and the app printing from? (you only mention looking at drivers) - eg, as you're probably aware Word has option to change the number of pages per sheet. And though I don't use this printer, I know printers often have all sorts of configurability settings.
