Has anyone come across a self-sealing firestop product out there? I use metal sleeves on most penetrations. My problem is that I return to the same pathways often and other trades come thru and use my sleeves past there recommended fill. I found an EZ Path that has no % fill to worry about but it is a lil expensive.

What do most of you use?

I've been looking into the Ezpath. Looks very interesting. Haven't actually used one yet. I just use the old fashion fire putty. 3M usually.

If re-entry is an issue, you should use a putty instead of caulk.
With putty it doesn't set up so you can remove it and put it back in place, you do however have to consider fill ratios.

I always use putty. The problem I have is other people using my sleeves and filling up past the fill ratio. I wanted to know if anyone uses any other all in one or do all just sleeve and putty?
