All I want to do is change my Thunderbird password

Thunderbird 91.5.0 here; Windows 7:

Doing a for that topic = every site's information I've found tells one to 1) click on drop-down TOOLS and then OPTIONS (enroute to changing the password), or 2) pull-down MENU and then click on OPTIONS (same story . . . )

Well, there's only one itty-bitty problem: There is NO "OPTIONS" option in at either location.

OK.

So where's the magic? Can only conclude that other people are seeing things I'm not permitted to see

Just to be clear here, do you mean the password you need to enter in order to run Thunderbird, or do you mean the password you need to enter for a specific email account?
