I created a close button via the wizard, DoCmd.Close.

Seems to work Ok, only if I select an item in one of my list boxes. If I do not, I get a message where it is looking for Enter Parameter Value (forms!TEMPFORM.FIELD1) that is used in the queries for the list boxes.

first make sure you don't have something wrong globally...create an unbound new form, and just put a close form button in, and see if it works...

Well... I traced the problem...

I have a combo-box that performs a requery on a couple of list boxes. I have the requery call in the on Exit as well as in the On Change.

I did this since if you select and item from the Combo and start to type an item into the text box section, then press tab, the On Change event does not fire. So, the On Exit was a simple way to catch this little hole.

Any input is appreciated. tia,

Success... I just added a me.recalc to the on Exit event of the Combo-box and that seemed to do the trick... I can now, close the form... Very wierd... I would list this one on the X-Files. Steve Medvid
