I installed Qmail. I have to do this all remotely and they won't let me access their firewall. So if they're lying to me or are mistaken, then obviously no one could help me.
The server is up and running on RHEL4. The only issue I'm having is sending mail through the machine from a remote connection. When you try it immediately throws back 553 error "Requested action not taken: mailbox name not allowed or chunk too large".
I've tried everything to solve this problem. Port 25 is definitely open. They have a hardware firewall and they say the SMTP settings are setup to allow all mail through. But it still rejects the mail. The only way to get it through is to add the user's IP to the tcp.smtp file.
Do you think it's still in the firewall, is there something I'm forgetting to add to the tcp.smtp file?
