all drives not needed for anti-virus scan

I have Win98 with Norton anti-virus 2003 - every day the program scans my whole computer - today it took 5 hours, 12 minutes - I can't find where I can tell it to just scan drive C - and in the future if I want the whole computer scanned which has 2 hard drives I will do a manual scan.
