alignment problems when printint reports

installed crystal report 7.0, browsed for the rpt file the report does look ok on screen but when i click to print the output report is misaligned with the actuall text boxes on the invoice paper

it also seems that each new sheet that is printed on the printer feeds an empty carriage return hence text becomes on two invoices at the same time then gets worse

can any ony help please

Download and install ALL the 7.0 patches to the product.
If that STILL does not work, I would move to the 8.0 version

What do you mean "looks OK on the screen" - the problem is with alignment of the text boxes on a preprinted form, so it must be very difficult to determine if it is OK when looking at the screen version of the report.
Are you using the same printer driver to view the screen version as well as the printed version?
Try printing the report on a laser printer (just ordinary paper), and see if you have the same problems with alignment and the extra carriage return showing up. This would indicate whether the problem is specific to your printer driver or to your report layout. Malcolm
